General Information: Zebra Jasper (also known as Zebra Marble or Zebra Rock) is a metamorphic or sedimentary stone from Western Australia featuring bold, alternating bands of white and black (or white and brown) that closely resemble zebra stripes. Despite the jasper trade name, it is technically a silicified mudstone or metamorphic rock.
Origin Locations: Kununurra, Western Australia (primary source); similar patterned stones also found in India and Brazil.
