Sunstone

General Information: Sunstone is a variety of oligoclase or labradorite feldspar containing copper or hematite platelets that produce a sparkling, glittery optical effect called aventurescence. It ranges in color from pale gold to vivid orange-red and is named for the warmth and brilliance of sunlight it evokes.
