Strawberry Quartz

General Information: Strawberry Quartz is a variety of quartz containing red to pinkish-red inclusions — commonly lepidocrocite, hematite, or goethite — that create a vivid, sparkling, strawberry-red internal appearance. It is distinct from rose quartz and should not be confused with dyed or glass imitations.

Origin Locations: Russia (primary natural source), Kazakhstan, and Mexico. Note: much commercial "Strawberry Quartz" is man-made glass.
