General Information: Sodalite is a sodium aluminum silicate chloride mineral displaying rich royal blue to blue-gray tones with white calcite veining. It is a member of the feldspathoid group and is one of the primary blue minerals found in lapis lazuli deposits, though it also occurs independently in large quantities.

Origin Locations: Brazil, Canada (Ontario and British Columbia), Namibia, Bolivia, and Russia.
