General Information: Red Tiger Eye (also called Bull's Eye or Ox Eye) is a variety of tiger's eye that has been naturally or heat-treated to produce a rich red to reddish-brown chatoyant stone. Natural red tiger eye occurs through natural oxidation of iron within the stone; many commercial specimens are heat-treated golden tiger's eye.
