Metaphysical Properties: Black Obsidian is one of the most powerful truth-revealing and psychic protection stones known. It is believed to act as a psychic mirror, reflecting back one's own hidden truths, patterns, and shadow aspects with a clarity that can be intense but ultimately transformative. Practitioners regard it as a powerful tool for shadow work, cutting through illusion, and rapidly clearing auric debris and energetic attachments. Obsidian is deeply grounding and protective, creating a strong anchoring to the Earth and a shield against negativity. It encourages the honest confrontation of one's inner landscape and the courageous acceptance of all that is found there.
