General Information: Malachite is a copper carbonate hydroxide mineral displaying vivid green banding — from bright emerald to deep forest green — in concentric rings or swirling patterns. It is one of the most visually striking minerals and has been used as a pigment, ornamental stone, and talisman for thousands of years.
